A Journey By Train

 

 We go on a journey by using different types of vehicles. These are a bus, a car, a train, a boat, an airplane and so on. We gather different experiences in different kinds of journeys. A journey by train is undoubtedly a delightful as well as an exciting one.

Once I made such a journey. It was the month of April. Our school was closed for summer vacation. I along with some of my friends decided to visit one of our childhood friends living in a remote village of Sylhet. We were four in number. We started at about 7 in the morning. The station was very crowded. when the train came, we got into a compartment. Luckily, I found my seat beside a window. After sometime, the train started moving. It seemed that the trees, houses, people- all the things were running behind. In fifteen minutes we crossed the first bridge. The beauty of the river below the bridge thrilled us. After two hours we caught sight of hills and tea gardens. Some hawkers were selling goods in the train. We bought some pieces of pineapples of local variety. We got different tastes. The pineapples were small in size but very sweet in taste. We reached our destination at 7 in the evening.
